Open, Women Only, Unique Format

Our meeting
is an open Women’s meeting that started as a workshop and
developed into a meeting with an unusual format. The first week of the month
is a step study with the Secretary selecting the step, the last week of the
month is a candle light birthday meeting and the rest of the weeks we use a
basket of AA quotes. Each member takes a quote and reads it then shares
their experience as it relates to their quote. All quotes are from AA
approved literature. |

Another
unusual thing we do is have a rotating Alternate GSR. The reason we do this
is to introduce many members to District Service. We encourage new women to
attend our meeting and make a few new friends in the process. |
